NovasPlay Robot

Omnidirectional Soccer Robot

Omnidirectional Soccer Robot

NovasPlay is a teleoperated omnidirectional soccer-playing robot developed as a competition project at Synopsys. The robot features a custom dribbling mechanism and an omnidirectional drive system, enabling agile movement and ball control on the field.

The Design

The robot was designed using Autodesk Fusion and fabricated using laser-cut sheet metal components and 3D-printed parts. The complete mechanical assembly, electronics integration, and system testing were carried out to develop a fully functional competition robot.

During the initial competition round, NovasPlay achieved a 5 - 1 victory, demonstrating the effectiveness of the mechanical design and control system.
